Ever since the very first episode of the A-Team there have been many actors who have guest-starred in only one or two episodes. Some of the most famous people that have starred in the A-Team include:

Hulk Hogan (real name: Terry Gene Bollea) in "Body Slam" and "The Trouble With Harry". Was a WWF star. Also has his own action show "Trouble In Paradise".

Mini Biography:

One of the greatest, most popular, most hated and charismatic wrestler of all time, Hulk Hogan is one of the men who helped parlay the circus-like world of professional wrestling from cult following into the forefront of American entertainment. What many people who know about Hogan don't know is he was in the "sport" for several years in virtual obscurity before hitting the big time. Hogan made his pro debut in 1978 and wrestled as "Sterling Golden" before becoming "Hulk." Hogan was getting main event matches while wrestling in the American Wrestling Alliance (AWA) in the early 1980s before he was cast as Thunderlips in Rocky III. That bit of casting propelled Hogan into the spotlight and he was soon to enter the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1983. At the time, the WWF was just beginning to go from local television (they were based in the Northeast U.S.) to national and Hogan's personality (and some well-done marketing and PR, plus the Wrestlemania series) helped to transform not only the WWF, but wrestling into the big show it is today. Hogan won the WWF title numerous times, and was credited with dealing Andre the Giant his first loss in pro wrestling. Hogan was soon seen everywhere, television, cartoons, movies, records and lunch boxes, but he was a part of the steroid scandel in the WWF, and quietly left the organization. Hogan layed low in wrestling circles, but continued to act before coming back, this time with World Championship Wrestling (WCW) the WWF's bitter rival. Hogan helped create the New World Order, the main bunch of badmen in the WCW and became more popular than ever. He even abandoned his trademark Red/Yellow colors for Black, and dyed his beard black. He still wrestles as of today, and like it or not is probably one of the best entertainers in any form of show business. He always put on a show.

Also Boy George starred in only one A-Team episode (thankfully! As it was the worst of all) called "Cowboy George". Below is an extract from his autobiography that has been kindly submitted by Monica.

Boy George And B.A. "The partying finished at 6 a.m. and I managed to get an hours sleep before being dragged of to Gatwick. I took my smack with me and finished it off in the executive-lounge loo.

The next thing I woke at the Beverly Hills Comstock hotel in LA wondering how I got there. The flight had been an embarrassment. I spent it snoring like a pig, coming round briefly to throw up on myself and eat a lighted cigarette.(...)

The trip was for a cameo performance in the action series The A-team, my acting début, not that you could call it acting-it was more for the $100,000. I spent a good chunk of it hauling my entourage with me, hairdresser Robert, make-up artist Pearl, my sister Siobhan an brother David. I couldn't stand the idea of being alone.

In the episode titled 'Cowboy George', I was supposed to play myself, but was handed a Valley Girl script full of cringy lines like,' Go for it, Hannibal 'and 'Totally awesome, Mr.T'.

I had to stay stoned to get through the experience. Jonathan Ashby, who came to cover he story for ABC and Fleet Street, procured me a nice bag of fresh weed. During filming I would often catch Jonathan's eye and we'd break up giggling.

My morning call was at 5.30 a.m. to be on location and in make-up by 6.30 a.m.(...)Ashby quoted me in the Daily Mirror.' This is one of the most boring things I've ever done'. There was some fun, hiding from Mr.T, who would charge into my Winnebago every morning and talk about how wonderful he was.

There was a running feud between Mr.T and George Peppard, though Peppard showed more reserve. One afternoon there was a scheduled photo-call. Mr.T refused to be in the same picture as Peppard. I just stood there with a blank smile. Afterwards Peppard apologized to me. Both he and his young wife seemed totally down to earth. Mr.T was fabulous too, but his ego was 22-carat gold, like the chains around his neck.

Towards the end of filming Marilyn joined me from New York and Jon, Roy and Mikey flew in for a cameo. Originally the band had no part in the show but they kicked up a fuss, so Tony had a word with the producers and they wrote them in. Jon said it would look better with the album due to be released. I knew it was just ego. I hated having Jon around, posing about the set in his tassled lurex cowboy shirt, creeping around Siobhan and David.(...)

The last day of filming was the pinnacle of cringe. They had me pulling a hair-grip from my spiky mop and using it to loosen a lock before kicking down a huge door. I felt and looked like a total prat. For the rest of the day everyone was calling me Rambo."

Thanks to Monica for sending the above extract.
